k p m g i C E E awards
So yesterday was the K P M G i C E E awards night at Suntec. As I've mentioned in an earlier post, my group got selected to be one of the 4 groups to present at the awards. *yay us* Was super excited at first, but as the day got nearer, all of us got more and more scared. haha.. oh wells.. Anyway you could literally feel the tension before the whole thing started. Everyone was pacing up and down the hall outside trying to memorise their speeches.But nvm, still have some time to camwhore first. LOL. my teammates, geo, yilin n me.
We were the first team to present. It went horrible. We exceeded the time limit by about 5 mins I think. And we got super bombarded during the Q and A la. Esp by that mean woman. Grr.. I don't like her. =(Darrell just sent me the pics he took from the event. The two pics below are from the Q and A session.
Tim was the emcee for da night! =) and yilin became the timekeeper after our team presented.

guess who's the mean woman? no prizes for guessing though..So after all the presentations were done, there was a short time for reception. Everyone ended up going arnd taking pictures, mostly.. =)

she: so do you feel nervous?
me: what's there to feel nervous about anymore? the presentation's over.
she: so how do you all think you did?
geo: i think its clear who the winner is. (it really was very clear, the last grp deserved to win)
she: YAH.
wah.. she said that right to our faces. grrr.. such a MEAN woman.. don't like her AT ALL. =(
oh well, at least i'm not in her class.. haha!

That guy in the picture is the HR manager of k p m g.. he is super duper nice and friendly la! in fact, he actually told us that should we apply for a job with them, just insert that photo in and he'll confirm take us in.. LOL.. maybe I should really do that har.. haha..Yeah so they announced the results after that.. and surprise surprise.. we got 4th!

oh yeah, we went down to Starbucks after that, cos we were waiting for my dad to fetch us.. So I happily went to order my rhumba frappe.. and guess what they told me?
No more rhumba frappes! as in.. they are phasing it out! WTH?
I want my rhumba frappe!!!!! =(
So sad k. Hmmprh.
Anyway had another presentation today, the biz comm final presentation. Half the class presented on Tues, while the other half today.

Now just gotta wait it out til exams.. =)
