i'm such a muggle~*

WARNING: long post ahead!

went out with fad today, and i picked up the first two books of the harry potter series, the philosopher's stone and the chamber of secrets from popular. (insisted on getting the adult version cover, cos i felt the kids version were a bit too.. kiddish.. so tak cool y'know)

yes, i know i'm about eight years late.

and even though i can always borrow these books from rozzie, i dunno.. i had a compelling desire to suddenly own them. i want the whole series! *hint: another thing u can get for my upcoming birthday*

finally! i understand the harry potter craze! =)

borrowed the vcds for the first two movies from nadz last week. and i'm in potter withdrawal now. cos i dont have the third show with me, and have not watched it. and i feel weird, like in some kind of limbo, having watched the first, second and fourth show.

yes my dear cousin, i have officially been converted! =)

borrowed many many books to read from the library! so happy! by the end of this hols, my english will be back to its powderful self! *yay*

that has always been the way for me, once i stop reading on a regular basis, my standard of english automatically drops. that was what happened in JC as well. i was one of those lucky few who didn't have to practice writing essays to score well for GP. they just came naturally, as long as i continued reading. which i totally didn't mind cos i LOVE to read.

but there was a point of time in J2, when i got totally swamped with school, ccas, bf, i had no time to read at all! and that was when my GP grades dropped. i started reading again once things cleared up a bit, and BAM! they improved! like magic, i tell u!

ahhh.. how magical! the world of harry potter!

speaking of which, i ALMOST bought the dvd for prisoner of azkaban just now. ALMOST. den the lady at the shop said that the DVD was of a latest version and it was a Region 6 (or smtg alone those lines, i din really understand.. i mean, u buy dvd, bring home and just play it wat, who cares abt the specs right?) yeah so din wanna waste my money, den later bring home cannot play.. so ended up not buying. *booo*

omg i sound like a totally deranged fan.

and speaking of being a deranged fan..

BSB is finally coming to Singapore and performing a concert here! omgomgomg.. wahahahaha if i had heard this news 5 years ago, i would probably have been hyperventilating right now! i'm still contemplating though.. i am sooooo soooo tempted to go. hahahaha.. just for the sake of fulfilling an old dream. =) here's the link if you don't believe me..

i mean, this was a band (ok fine, boyband) whose songs and lyrics i knew by heart! (yes, u can shoot me now!) i had the biggest crush on brian littrell back then. i thought he was the cutest thing ever, and that he had the voice of an angel. i could watch their videos over and over again til my mom would shout at me to go do something else. *omg yes i didn't have a life! ack*

this is too tempting.. anybody else tempted to go watch them too raise ur hands and say aye!
