I've been blogging so much lately! haiz..
I think I blog to escape from the realities of life. which is basically just the mounting pile of readings, tutorials and projectworks that I have yet to do. The pile just keeps growing! haiz.. abt 3 more weeks to go, and there's still 3 more reports due, 1 more presentation (I think..) and 1 board meeting. And 2 more quizzes! (econs theory and tax!) Then it's off to the exams! sheesh.. My file for AA201 is getting extremely thick! I used the file that we got for the RJ orientation and it's almost at full capacity already! *bleargh* just thinking about going through those pile of notes, readings and undone tutorial questions is turning me off already.
Went for an early dinner with Fad just now at Lot 1, where we bumped into so many of his debate friends. Every few minutes was like *eh tt girl was on titian minda!* haha okay, i exxagerate, we only bumped into 3 girls. But that's still quite a lot! heh.. Dinner.. was an interesting affair. Partly cos of the couple sitting next to us. So cute lah they all! We had this *shi chuan sweet and sour soup*, something which I've tried before in Malaysia when auntie mah brought us to eat at Shah Alam recently. It's similar to shark's fin soup, except it doesnt have shark's fin. yeah..
So when that couple came right, they saw our soup and asked us.. *hey, what's that you're having?* They looked interested.. asking us if it was nice and stuff.. and so they ordered that too! *i've got such good taste, heh =p*
Yeah, then after a while, suddenly the waiter placed 2 extra glasses of iced water on our table! We hadn't requested for any extra water, and normally you'd just fill up the glasses on the table, not give you extra right? So we were quite surprised! Then, the couple next to us seemed to look confused also cos they were eyeing the water! haha.. So, I thought that they must have ordered the water! Then Fad went to ask the guy if it was theirs instead and the waiter must have left it at the wrong table. But the guy kept shaking his head. BUUTTT the girl was like nodding and saying yeah it's ours! But the guy still shook his head, and the girl STILL kept nodding!
I was so amused! =)
So finally I said, "So which is it? Satu kater yes, satu kater no?* (meaning, one say yes, one say no)
Finally the girl said, *yeah it's ours* and we gave them the 2 glasses. So cute! haha they cannot make up their mind!
I have not been in touch with my Malay self. I need to go read some Malay books or something. Get back in touch with the language. I don't think I can even type a proper passage now in Malay! yep, that's gonna be my aim for the upcoming holidays. Finish at least 2 malay books! okla, try one first! heh.. Know any good malay books to recommend me?
